It's been more than a week since online fans have been talking about KC Concepcion's intriguing statement on Twitter which said, "Thank you, my Peter Pan, for my fruits, ramen, Japanese grapes & for the company last night. Those things mean a lot! You know who you are." Someone who was closely following her account immediately reposted it on the internet, causing speculations to arise whether or not Peter Pan stands for Piolo Pascual. Apparently, KC was reportedly "sad to be sick" and "home alone" last August 21 (Friday) when "Peter Pan" came rushing to her family's residence in Wack-Wack to cheer her up with the said pasalubong and most especially with his company.
Though their avid fans have also unearthed a previous interview of Piolo saying that he's a Peter Pan fanatic, some were still not completely sure that KC was really referring to him on that twit. But the beautiful actress finally laid it to rest with her confirmation during the Star Magic Ball last August 30 (Sunday) that her code name for Piolo is indeed Peter Pan.
"Paano ninyo nalaman," exclaimed KC who was surprised to hear that the local media have already caught on her endearment for Piolo. The latter didn't want to answer the question at first saying, "Ewan ko sa kanya baka mamaya hindi ako, mahirap na," but then KC added, "Oo (siya si Peter Pan) at ako si Tinker Bell, pwede ring Wendy." Like a true gentleman, Piolo took it as a sign that it's okay for them to talk about it to the entertainment reporters because he chose to comment at that moment. "Code nga namin yun e. She likes to be called Tink (short for Tinkerbell) but I call her Wendy," he grinned.
KC on the other hand was flattered when told by ABS-CBN.com that she's the first girl Piolo brought as a date to the very successful Star Magic Ball this year. "I'm so happy. This is my third ball but it's the first time that she came with me. At least now she knows," said Piolo. To which KC replied, "I am really excited it's my first time to attend the Star Magic Ball. Ayun ininvite ako ni PJ. Sinuot ko yung favorite color niya (a royal blue gown designed by Joey Samson).
It was a very quick interview because Piolo was obviously avoiding further misunderstanding when it comes to his intentions towards KC. But with this development in their relationship, is it safe to say that they are no longer in the courtship stage contrary to what they'd like people to think? You be the judge of that.
